Fiesta Mexicana

This illustration was created for a poster contest, where the winner's work was to be displayed in an event's promotional material. The event's name was Fiesta Mexicana, a celebration of Mexican culture. I wanted to create an analogous color scheme that predominantly featured the two main colors of Mexico's flag: green and red. I wanted all of these colors to be used in the forming of a portrait of a Mexican guitarist with a dancer in the background with high saturation and contrast, creating an energetic party-like effect.
